Marlene Olavarria – President

Marlene Olavarria is currently enrolled in the Master of Accountancy Program and plans to graduate in Fall 2023. Upon graduating she plans to pursue her CPA license. She has been involved in BAP since Fall 2021 and was Director of Recruitment before becoming President. In addition to her involvement in BAP, she does private tutoring for students in financial/managerial accounting. During her free time, she likes to spend time doing outdoor activities with her friends and family including biking, hiking, and camping, and enjoys volunteering in the community.

Sayaris Meneses-Nelson – Vice President

Sayaris Meneses-Nelson will be graduating in in the Fall of 2023. Her program of study is a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a declared major in accounting. Sayaris plans on obtaining her CPA after graduating. She is currently a full time student and focusing her time on her academics and her career. In her free time, Sayaris likes to crochet, write, weight lift, and express herself through various art mediums.

Hayden Murphy – Reporter

Hayden Murphy, a Chicago area native, is a senior majoring in Accounting and Finance here at UNF. Expecting to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Fall of 2023, Hayden plans on returning for an MBA with a finance focus soon after and pursue a career in finance after college. Last summer, Hayden partook in an internship opportunity with Black Knight Inc.’s Optimal Blue division aiding their Investor Relations team. For now, his primary focus is his education and wants to ensure that it will be completed in a timely manner. Outside of education, Hayden is a passionate Formula 1 fan and enjoys spending time playing guitar as well as spending time with his family and pets.

Nathan Harte – Treasurer

Nathan Harte is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Analytics with an anticipated graduation of Fall 2023. Having completed an undergraduate degree in Finance, Nathan intends to pursue opportunities that would allow him to marry both Finance and Data Analytics. He currently sits on the executive team for the Diversity in Business program at UNF; in a Graduate Assistant capacity. As a former Division I athlete, Nathan has a continued passion for soccer and has developed interests in both Basketball and Football.

Tatiana Drake – Director of Recruitment

Tatiana Drake is an Accounting, Finance, and Marketing major and plans to graduate in Spring 2024. She plans to pursue her master’s degree in accounting and take the CPA exam. In addition to her involvement in BAP, she is the vice president of Finance for her Sorority, Ambassador and mentor for Women in Business, and a tutor for financial accounting. During her free time, she likes to do volunteer work for the Hubbard house, spends time with family and friends, and learn new languages.

Ashley Aguila – Director of Programming

Ashley Aguila is an undergraduate student double majoring in accounting and finance. She is expected to graduate in Spring 2024. She has plans to get her CPA license after she graduates. In Summer 2023, she has a tax internship at RSM which she is looking forward to. In her free time she enjoys photography, filming short videos, and spending time with her family.

Robert King – Director of Information Technology

Robert King is currently enrolled in the Master of Accountancy Program and plans to graduate in Spring 2024. He is currently also pursuing his CPA license. He has been involved in BAP since Spring 2020 and was Director of IT in 2021, President in 2022, and reutrns to Director of IT for his final year. In addition to his involvement in BAP, he is the President of Phi Kappa Phi. After he graudates, Robert will be starting full-time as an audit associate with KPMG. During his free time, he enjoys listening to music and hiking through Florida nature trails.

 Sunni Stevens – Director of Marketing

Sunni Stevens is an Accounting and Marketing major with two minors in digit marketing analytics and international business; she plans to graduate Fall 2023. She plans to plans to pursue a masters degree in accounting in order obtain her CPA. She isn’t sure whether she prefers audit or tax because she likes both. During her free time, she plays intramural volleyball at the field house or spending quality with her two cats, Mira and Marble.

Jennifer Sailor – Secretary

Jennifer Sailor is a MAcc student at UNF and will be graduating in Fall 2023. She has a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Florida. She is currently working toward passing the CPA exam. With her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Antwain Marshall – Historian

Antwain is a senior in the Coggin College of Business majoring in Accounting with a double minor in Finance, Law & Philosophy. Born in Jacksonville, he plans on getting his CPA and beginning his career in Audit. Antwain currently takes part in school organizations- Is a historian for Beta Alpha Psi and is an Associate Justice in the Judicial Branch.

Allareeza Alli – Director of Community Outreach

Allareeza is an accounting and finance major and is planning to graduate in the fall of 2024. She plans to take the CPA exam and pursue a master’s in finance. During her free time, she likes running, practicing taekwondo and hanging out with her friends.

Mark Leininger – Faculty Advisor

Mark Leininger, as the Faculty Advisor to Beta Alpha Psi (BAP), brings a diversified professional and academic background with its beginnings at EY (12 years – Jacksonville, FL office) followed by employment with CSX (Assistant Controller) and Florida East Coast Industries, Inc. (Controller, Principal Accounting Officer and VP).  Mark made the transition to UNF academics in the Fall of 2009.  Since then he has taught many courses including most recently Advanced Accounting, Fund Accounting and Intermediate Accounting II.  Mark, also, works in many service capacities with the Students, College and University.  This background uniquely positions Mark for the role of BAP Faculty Advisor appreciating the interests of 1) our best and brightest accounting, finance and information technology majors, 2) our incredible Sponsors and 3) the broader spectrum of the profession.

Ainsley Erb – At-Large Board Member

Ainsley is double majoring in accounting and finance with plans to graduate summer of 2024. After that, she plans to pursue her master’s degree in accounting and take the CPA exam. She works as a Resident Assistant here on campus. During her free time, she likes to travel and explore new places with her friends and family.

Mariyam Akhmetkaliyeva – At-Large Board Member

Mariyam Akhmetkaliyeva  Mariyam is a junior at University of North Florida double majoring in finance and accounting. After graduating she hopes to pursue her master’s degree in accounting and take the CPA exam. She is currently interning at the local accounting firm Pivot CPAs in their auditing department. During her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and running.
